ಟಾಲ್ಸ್ ಟಾಯ್  ಕೃತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳೆದ ಮೂವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಓದುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವನ ಮೂರು ಕಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕನ್ನಡಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುವಾದಿಸಿದೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ವಾರ್ ಅಂಡ್ ಪೀಸ್ ಕಾದಂಬರಿಯನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ಅನುವಾದಿಸಿದೆ. ಅ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೇಖಕನ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಕಾಲದ ಚಿತ್ರ ಹಾಗು ಇತರ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗೆ ಹುಡುಕುವಾಗ ದೊರೆತ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಈ ಬ್ಲಾಗ್ ಪುಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಿದೆ.
ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ತಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇವು ಕಾಪಿರೈಟ್ ಹಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ಒಳಪಟ್ಟಿರಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಗಮನಿಸಿ. ನನ್ನಂತೆಯೇ ಟಾಲ್ಸ್ ಟಾಯ್  ಕ್ರತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ಇರುವವರಿಗೆ ಒಂದೆಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ದೊರೆತು ಉಪಯೋಗವಾದರೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞ.

Leo Tolstoy

I am reading Tolstoy for the past 30 years. I translated his stories to Kannada (Death of Ivan Ilych, Father Sergius and Krutzer Sonnata) two years ago. And then I started translating War and Peace. During the course of translation I began to search for imgages related to Tolstoy and War and Peace and reference works related to him and the novel. Thought I would share through the blog the materials I collected in the past few years, hoping it would be of help to some one some where interested in Tolstoy and his works, or searching for images related to him.
